Biography:

Dr. Jizhai Cui is a tenure-track Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science at Fudan University. He completed his Ph.D. in 2016 at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), working in the NSF Center for Translational Applications of Nanoscale Multiferroic Systems. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Materials at ETH Zurich, and Paul Scherrer Institute, in Switzerland, where he held the Marie Curie Co-fund Fellowship “PSI-Fellow” (2017-2019). Since 2019, he is a member of the Early Career Researcher Board for IOP’s Multifunctional Materials. His research focuses on intelligent micro/nanorobots and microsystems, ferromagnetic/ferroelectric materials and their device applications.
